Rio Vista Proposed Park Architectural Base drawn up December 11, 2012
January 8, 2013: At the latest Renaissance homeowner's association meeting, St. Pete City Counsel Member, Jim Kennedy, stated historical mementos would be erected paying tribute to the 1923 Rio Vista Elementary School. The westernmost corners plan to remain saluting the history of the school.
In addition, twelve photographs, at The St. Petersburg Museum of History, were found depicting daily life at Rio Vista Elementary School "back in the days." The plan will be to display these photos for future generations that come to the new park.
